2011
Mining begins
f2pool’s predecessor, a private pool, is developed and lays the foundation for the future of mining operations.
2013
Pool launches
Chun and DiscusFish launch f2pool in May with BTC and LTC support. For more than a year, it serves as a go-to mining pool. Other coins such as ProtoShares are soon added.
2014
Top mining pool
f2pool overtakes GHash.IO becoming the largest BTC and LTC mining pool globally, with up to 30% of the BTC network’s hashrate.
2016
Largest ETH mining pool
ETH and ZEC mining launches, and f2pool quickly becomes the largest ETH pool, with 25% network hashrate.
2020
Global influence continues
f2pool mines Bitcoin block 629999, the final block before the third halving, with a message echoing Satoshi Nakamoto’s message included in the Bitcoin genesis block.
2024
New chapter begins
f2pool and stakefish merge, and f2pool begins operating under Fram Farm Inc. This transition marks a new era, enhancing global operations, strengthening compliance, and reinforcing our commitment to trusted mining services worldwide.
SOC certified
